WELCOME

Kukere master, Iyanya Onoyom Mbuk, popularly called Iyanya, is a Nigerian artist who warmed his way into the hearts of many when he won the Season One edition of Project Fame West Africa in 2008.
His hit single, Kukere, contributed greatly to his success and fame in the music industry as the song almost became a national anthem. The dance style is still cherished by many till now. The Calabar born singer acquired the 2012 Mercedes Benz E350 in 2013. He’s said to have spent about $50,000 (about N8m) on the ride.
Despite his macho stature, the E350 Mercedes car seems good for him as its design, though sporty, accommodates men of his type. It has a customised plate number – IYANYA.
The 2012 Mercedes Benz E350 features a direct-injection 3.5-liter V6 that produces 302 hp and 273 lb-ft of torque. It is an All Wheel Drive with seven-speed automatic transmission that transmits its power to the road with unshakable precision, with the capacity to accelerate from 0 – 60mph in 6.5 seconds and only a few cars in its class can come close to its fuel economy estimates of 22 mpg city/33 mpg highway and 26 mpg combined. Also standard are the Mercedes-Benz Attention Assist – a driver’s drowsiness and inattention warning system – and a pre-safe mechanism that anticipates an imminent crash and automatically takes measures to better secure occupants.
The lane-tracking package adds a blind-spot warning system and a lane departure warning system. The Driver Assistance package has adaptive cruise control and more advanced versions of the lane tracking items that can take evasive action should the driver fail to do so. It also has front and rear parking sensors, split-folding rear seats, heated and ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, enhanced front seats with adjustable bolsters, a heated steering wheel, an infrared night vision warning system and a rear seat entertainment system.

Its front seats are extremely adjustable and offer ample space for taller drivers, while at the back, it’s spacious with comfortable accommodation. It also comes standard with leatherette upholstery and 14-way power-adjustable front seats, heated front seats, ventilated front seats and an active multi-contour driver’s seat with massage.
Interior
The model has a cabin done in a style that is meant to recall luxury and comfort. With firm seats which offer impressive comfort and support over long distances, the car also comes with an electronics interface which combines a large display screen, a control knob, dash-mounted buttons, cruise control, dual-zone automatic climate control, interior accent lighting, auto-dimming inside and driver-side mirrors.
With this model, driving can be fun. It has Bluetooth phone and audio streaming that enables drivers to stream music from their phone and talk hands-free in the car, a six-CD/DVD changer and HD Radio and a 7-inch display, all enjoyable through its eight-speaker sound system. Alternatively, users can use the auxiliary audio jack for exclusive listening.
Driving Impressions
The 2012 Mercedes-Benz E 350 strikes a brilliant balance between ride quality and handling ability. It offers an adaptable, rewarding and confident car for the widest variety of surfaces and situations. Although it’s not the most athletic pick, it, nevertheless, offers highly tactile steering, strong engines and a chassis that inspires confidence. Regardless of body style or engine, the 2012 Mercedes-Benz E 350 is a special luxury car to drive, according to reviewers.
The good: The model has a spacious back seat and a large trunk. It has increased power and fuel efficiency.
The bad: Test drivers said the E350 comes standard with Mercedes’ COMAND system which complicates audio, climate and navigation functions.

Iyanya's Many Lies! Uncovered

WELCOME
It was all over the news last week that a computer gadget Chinese company had signed Iyanya as its ambassador in a multi million dollar deal. In fact, Iyanya had announced it himself when he posed with a Lenovo tablet and wrote: ‘New Product !!! New Ambassador !!! Brand Ambassador !!!! Lenovo !!!! Iyanya !!!! Task Direct 2014 Started #triplemg’.
But Iyanya's lies has been blown open, as Lenovo denied any of such deal with the Kukere dude.
Iyanya’s manager when reached on the phone confirmed the deal, claiming they made about N150M – N170M from the deal. ‘It’s true, it cost about N150 to N170 million and the duration is for 24 months’, Ubi Franklin told a NET correspondent over the phone.
But NET investigation also revealed that there was no such deal as the company's rep in Nigeria named Mr. Olumide. Lenovo SA also said they are not aware of the deal.
Olumide told NET's editors over the phone that he was not aware of any signing with Iyanya.
I can’t really say on that. I don’t know anything; I don’t know who he is. Honestly I don’t know anything, maybe you should call him and ask him yourself’, Olumide told our correspondent over the telephone.
NET also reached Zinox Computers via e-mail and telephone but didn’t get any response from them. An e-mail sent to consultants for SOLO Phone was not replied neither were text messages responded to.
NET also reached out to Iyanya and Made Men Music Group label publicist over the signing, who unconvincingly explained to our reporter that Zinox Computers acts as a parent company to Lenovo in Nigeria.
Just as you guessed, that doesn’t make sense. So why did Iyanya lie about the deal?
